Apply for API Key
API Keys connect GetAPI to your Agents and development tools. getapi.one and getapi.pro issue separate keys, so use each key only with the matching service address.
Choose a service
Start from the service you already registered for. If you use both services, create and store two separate keys.
| Service | Use when | Application guide |

Before you start
- If you have not registered or signed in yet, start with the sign-up and login overview.
- Confirm that the console opens normally.
- Make sure the account has usable balance or an active plan.
- Prepare a safe place to save the key, such as an environment variable, local config file, or Agent settings page.
General application flow
- Sign in to the matching service console.
- Open the API Key or API Keys menu.
- Create a new key.
- Copy the generated key and save it somewhere private.
- Put the key into the matching Agent or development tool configuration.
- Send a small test request to confirm that the connection works.
Keep API Keys safe
Do not put an API Key in frontend code, public repositories, public documents, screenshots, or screen recordings. When you ask someone to help debug a problem, hide the key and account information first.
